1. How old do you have to be to get a tattoo?
You must be 18 or older, or be accompanied by a parent.
2. Do you take Credit Cards?

3. Do you take "walk-ins" or must I make an appointment?
Appointments are mandatory. We may accept walk-ins if the schedule is light.

5. Can I shower after a tattoo?
Yes, cleaning any kind of cut is good for you. If there is any residue leftover from getting the tattoo, cleaning it gives germs nothing to feed on. On the other hand you should stay out of pool water and salty beach water until at least 7 days after your tattooing.
6. Can I walk in the sunshine?
If your tattoo is brand new, avoid sun exposure. Your tattoo is like a scrape. The skin is exposed to harm because it has lost part of it's protective epidermis, so if you expose a tattoo to sun, the sun burns your skin. So avoid sun. If you work outdoors wear a dry bandage, but take the bandage off afterwards so your tattoo can breathe and heal faster.
7. I've had this tattoo for years, do I still need to avoid the sun?
Your tattoo will last a lot longer if you protect it. Try to use sunblock if you know you are going to tan or be working or walking in the sun for awhile.
8. How do you sterilize your instruments?
I use what's now becoming the industry standard - the autoclave. Tubes, the part of the machine that acts as a pen handle, are scrubbed free of loose ink, etc. and then autoclaved. I always use new needles for every person. Besides being safest, using new needles insures quality of skin penetration, meaning you get a better tattoo. I also like to spore-test our autoclaves regularly to insure us that they are still doing a great job at killing bacteria, viruses, etc.
9. Does it hurt to get tattooed?
Yes, but everyone handles it differently. What you feel depends on who you are, whether you had a good lunch, if you got good sleep that night, etc. So the tattoo usually hurts only for the first 5-10 minutes and then you feel numb in that area.
10. What part of the body hurts the least, what hurts the most?
The arm is the easiest, the genitals the most. Areas where you have lots of muscle will absorb the needle better and hurt less. The places that hurt more, are areas of either high nerve concentration, errogenous zones like inner thigh or areas right over bone like the ankle. Certain areas that hurt a lot like the ribcage are chosen by those with more experience. I think people should get them wherever they envision the tattoo looking good, regardless of pain, because once it's over, you live with it forever.
11. So, arms and legs hurt the least?
Definitely.
12. So I can get high or drunk to deal with the pain?
What a bad mistake. Alcohol makes your surface blood vessels dilate, which means you will bleed more and that means it will be harder to have ink spread evenly in the skin. People who are drunk I find can never stay still while getting tattooed. If you want straight even lines you have to stay still. The main point is that we want you to be 100% with us when you're being tattooed so you are happy with all your decisions later.
13. Can tattoos be removed?
Almost every method of removal leaves some trace scar tissue. The best method is laser removal in which a laser vaporizes the ink particles in the skin. Old methods usually involved burning or abrading the entire area, definitely messy. If you like tattoos, I suggest you look into getting a coverup. Laser removal fees add up usually 10 times what a coverup would have cost.
14. If I have dark skin can I get a tattoo?
The style should be adjusted for the design to be bold and show contrast well, especially if the person is very dark. In general I encourage having a large design tattooed becauses it's easier to decipher the image. There's nothing more disheartening for a person than to have all their friends wondering "what is that on your arm?"
15. Can people with dark skin get GOOD tattoos?
It depends on how light or dark you are. If you are light caramel colored then you can have black & grey, red, orange, blue & green. Dark skin you should stick to black.
16. How much does it cost to get a tattoo at TatttoFuerteventura?
More commonly we quote a price for the tattoo itself. If we feel it will take more than one session to complete, a price is set per session until the tattoo is completed.

Debes ser mayor de 18 años, de lo contrario venir acompañado por alguno de tus padres.
2. ¿Se aceptan tarjetas de credito?
No.
3. ¿Aceptan hacer tatuajes al momento, o se debe concertar cita?
Se debe concertar una cita previa, ocacionalmente podemos tatuarte el mismo dia.
4. ¿Como debo cuidar mi tatuaje?

5. ¿Puedo ducharme después de tatuarme?
Si, cualquier clase de limpieza es siempre beneficiosa, además los restos que puedan quedar después de tatuarse deben limpiarse lo antes posible, aunque no se debe bañar en la bañera, ni en la piscina, ni sauna, ni en el mar, al menos los primeros 7 dias posteriores a la sesión.
6. ¿Puedo tomar sol después de tatuarme?
Si acabas de tatuarte debes evitar el sol, tu tatuaje es como una herida abierta, la piel esta expuesta a cualquier infección, porque en el area del tatuaje has perdido parte de la protección de la epidermis, si tomas sol te quemará la parte afectada. Protege tu tatuaje con una gasa o venda y cuando no estes al sol puedes sacartela para que respire. Ademas el sol envejece los colores.
7. ¿Debo protegerme del sol aunque el tatuaje lleve mucho tiempo hecho?
Tu tatuaje lucirá mejor cuanto mas lo cuides. Ponte crema de protección solar alta en la parte tatuada siempre que vayas a exponerte al sol.
8. ¿Como esterilizan los instrumentos?
Esterilizamos con el método obligatorio por la comunidad europea e higiénico sanitario español, con autoclave, y la limpieza de los utensillos es por ultrasonido, las agujas naturalmente son descartables y nuevas para cada cliente y tatuaje, además de la seguridad que te dan las agujas nuevas, también te aseguran una mejor calidad en tu tatuaje, ya que penetran mejor en tu piel, periodicamente se testea al autoclave para asegurar que la esterilizacion sea perfecta y que las bacterias y virus queden eliminados.
9. ¿Duele hacerse un tatuaje?
Naturalmente que duele, pero cada persona reacciona y siente de distinta manera el dolor, todo depende de ti, si estas tranquilo, relajado, y has comido y dormido bien, te dolera los primeros 5-10 minutos, después será una simple molestia.
10. ¿Que parte del cuerpo duele menos y cual duele mas cuando uno se tatua?
Los brazos son los mas faciles y los genitales los mas dolorosos. Los lugares con mas musculatura absorben mejor los pinchazos, los lugares que mas duelen es donde se juntan mas terminaciones nerviosas, como por ejemplo la ingle y la parte baja de los brazos. Las costillas suelen elegirlas las personas con mas experiencia, personalmente creo que cada uno debe elegir la parte del cuerpo que desee sin pensar en el dolor, ya que el dolor es momentaneo y el tatuaje es para toda la vida.
11. ¿Brazos y piernas duelen menos?
Definitivamente duelen menos.
12. ¿Puedo colocarme o emborracharme para sentir menos dolor?
Es un gran error. El alcohol hace que los vasos sanguineos se dilaten, lo que hace que sangres mas, por lo que resulta mas dificil tatuar y duele más. Las personas borrachas no se quedan quietas durante la sesión de tatuaje, lo que supone un riesgo al trazar las lineas, pero lo mas importante es que queremos que tu estes 100% con nosotros, para que una vez tatuado, estes contento con la decisión tomada.
13. ¿Los tatuajes, se pueden borrar?
Casi todos los metodos para borrar tatuajes dejan huella, de momento el mejor método es el laser, el cual vaporiza las particulas de tinta de la piel. Los métodos antiguos, como cortar o quemar, son definitivamente horrendos e ineficaces, si te gustan los tatuajes te recomiendo que los camufles con otro (cover up). El laser puede costar 10 veces mas que otro tatuaje.
14. ¿Si tengo piel oscura, puedo tatuarme?
Lo mas importante es entender que el estilo elegido se ajuste a la piel y se vea claro, especialmente si le persona es de piel muy oscura. En general, aconsejo un tatuaje grande y bien definido para que la imagen quede clara, no hay nada peor que te pregunten "¿que es lo que llevas tatuado en el brazo?"
15. ¿A las personas de piel oscura les quedan bien los tatuajes?
Depende del grado de oscuridad de la piel, si eres aceitunado te convienen el negro y gris, rojos, naranjas, azules y verdes. Una piel muy oscura deberia tatuarse en negro.
16. ¿Cuanto cuesta hacerse un tatuaje en TattooFuerteventura?
Comunmente se da el precio segun el tamaño y complejidad del tatuaje. Si es por sesión, te cobraremos por sesión, hasta que el tatuaje este completo.
